The TRICER-GO Arca Quick Release is relatively ultralight and allows for a very timely transition to and from optics. An example of a common use scenario is that of the TRICER-GO with the TRICER-LP Pan Head. Some folks are willing to accept this additional 2.3 ounces in exchange for becoming "faster" on the mountain, and quite honestly, some folks are content with the standard, manual-operation of a traditional thumbscrew.
