The TRICER-JC Tripod is uniquely effective for those who will be primarily vehicular-based when hunting, or for those interested in professional filming, due to its ability to increase or reduce its weight from 3 to 6.75 lbs and because of its micro-adjustment capability.
In our opinion, based on field experience, the micro-adjustment offered in the panning axis is far more advantageous in the field than is the micro-adjustment in the elevation axis. This is because of one's ability to precisely shift from one frame of reference to the other, whether left-to-right or right-to-left, when panning. When using the TRICER-JC to grid through opposing terrain, it is this specific micro-adjustment capability that permits the most effective glassing sequence.
