Expert Insights
The Crispi Briksdal MTN GTX was built specifically for western, mountain hunting. When it was first released in 2023, our Director (Forest) purposefully chose to "break it in" over five days, 25 miles, and 5,000 feet of elevation gain and loss with a loaded backpack weighing approximately 45 lbs. What was the result? Well, it's simple really. The Briksdal MTN GTX was incredibly comfortable, lightweight, sturdy, and otherwise awesome right out of the box!
We recommend that folks look to the Briskdal MTN GTX for western mountain hunting applications, period. Its 9" height and Ankle Bone Support System (ABSS) offer reliable stability without having to accept a significant weight penalty because of it. Also, as it is 100% synthetic, the Crispi Briksdal MTN GTX is very forgiving in many aspects.
