I loved the article on the Kenetrek Mountain Extreme boots. I have had a pair of the 400’s for at least 10 years. They are the best boots I have ever owned. The most comfortable boots right of the box, like an old pair of slippers. I have never had a blister, they have never leaked, other than from top, when I have forgotten my gaiters, and deep snow has tea bagged up my pants. Over the past 50 odd years, I have been through a lot of boots and brands,and a lot of boot failures, blisters, bleeding toes, wet feet, frozen feet, etc. I must also add, I had it drilled into my head from an early age from my Dad, who was X Army and X RCMP, if you want good boots to perform, you must maintain them. I clean and waterproof my Kenetrek’s 2 or 3 times a year. I have always used Nikwax waterproofing wax on my boots. I have no idea how many 1000s of kms are on my boots, but they look and perform as good as new. I am also still on the original laces. LOL Most of my hunting buddies won’t spend that much on boots, but I smile to myself when they spend $300 or more every 2 or 3 years on boots. KENETREK MOUNTAIN EXTREME 400’S ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️.
Best boot I’ve ever owned . The pair I have now are going into their third year of service and I wear them to work every work day. The soles are slick with no tread left on them but the boot is still 100% waterproof thank you kennetrack well worth the money.
The boots pictured are exactly the problem keneteck boots have. I had pair l took on a WY hunt for 18 days. The leather streches or is cut too large for size. Your boots in the pic can no longer be longer tighten up in the toe area. The same happens up to the top of the boots in the shin area. So you loose support. You are supposed to be able to tighten up or lossen a boot during the day. I see the same results on hunters boots in camps all over the west during hunts over the last 13 years. The Granite Boot from Schnees is the boot l bought after returning my boots to Keneteck. I own Meindel Zamberlan and Salewa Vultur Evo boots. All of those don’t do what Kenertecks do. And my Granites were just resoled and are going strong.
